January Favourites!

7 Feb

So this is my first ever favourites post 🙂 I love reading these on other peoples’ blogs and thought I’d share with everyone the products that I’d been using most through January.

January favourites

The first is MUA pro-brow pallet, I use this almost everyday as I feel that it helps define eyebrows without making them look too dark.

We also have the Viva La Diva eyeliner in blue lagoon, which I received from Nancy in the beauty blogger swap.

I’ve included my Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stain which I’ve wore quite a lot recently as it helps moisturize as well as having a nice colour that lasts for hours.

My MUA blush in shade 2 is the first blush I ever bought (a few months ago).  I feel that this gives a nice colour to your cheeks and is easily blended in.

And last but not least is a lip balm from Jewel by India R.  These lip balms are handmade by India-Robyn and have a small crystal on top.  I have the honeyone which is lovely and is great in the cold weather.

Hope you liked my favourites, let me know what you thought 🙂

The Budget Beauty Blogger Swap! – Part 2

30 Jan

In case you haven’t seen my first post, I took part in a budget beauty blogger swap, organized by Naomi who paired me up with the lovely Nancy.  There was a budget of £10/€12/$16, I might have went slightly over this as it was almost Nancy’s birthday 🙂

I received my package from Nancy the other day but haven’t had time to write the post/take pictures until now.  I absolutely love what Nancy sent me 🙂

They came wrapped in cute cupcake paper!

So the first package I opened contained a Viva La Diva eyeliner, in Blue Lagoon. I love it so much! Not only is it an amazing colour, it last all day and was really nice to apply.

The second package contained a Lumene blueberry eyeshadow duo in Northern Lights.  The eyeshadows are so amazing, they contain Arctic blueberry and could be used together or separately.  Today I wore just the purple and it looked so lovely 🙂

I just want to say a huge thank you to Nancy for sending me such lovely things and to Naomi for organizing it all 🙂
